Through Our Own Eyes was created for those teachers, parents and students who want to correct the biased narrative about black people that occurs in American schools and classrooms. It methodically fills in the missing pages of history by telling the story of African American People from our earliest beginnings, all the way through the Civil Rights Movement; while providing relevant and rigorous educational activities and resources that help students stay engaged and retain the information.
